Top 3 Reasons you NEED toner as part of your skincare routine I frequently get asked, Roisin, why do I need toner ? Today I'm going to fill you in on exactly why toner is an essential part of your skincare routine. 1) It removes left over residue Toner is applied ( with a gauze pad )  after washing your face.  It will remove any left over residue that was not removed during washing.
